ABOUT MY PRIVATE LESSONS
Whether you’re looking to try a new medium or simply want to play around and get your creative juices flowing, this lesson will give you all the tools you need to create your own abstract art. Before each lesson, we will go over your skill level and discuss any specific techniques you may want to go over.
My intro classes usually cover:
- How to use the supplies needed
- How to find inspiration and successful color schemes
- My tried and true methods for achieving specific results based on which pieces of mine you are most drawn to.
- Spray sealants to varnish your work
Other classes can include:
- How to properly seal your work
- Adding any pen work or details to your work
- How to mount on panel
- How to resin coat your pieces
- Shipping / packing tips
ZOOM ONLINE LESSONS:
For those of you too far to come make art with me in person, I offer online lessons through video chat in 1hr increments. The rate for the class is $135/hr and is split into a 60 min session where I demonstrate techniques and share tips while answering any questions, and then a 15min follow up the next week to review your work and answer any remaining questions you may have. I have found this setup to be super successful, although I am open to other formats. I offer discounts if you are interested in 2 or more lessons. A supply list is sent to you after purchase of a class.

IN-PERSON, PRIVATE LESSONS:
My private lessons are hosted in my own studio in Irvine, California. The rate for this class is $200 for 2 hours which includes access to all the supplies in my studio. This is a great chance to try different ink brands, and experiment in a creative setting. You may want to bring an apron or wear old clothes. Alcohol ink permanently stains, so I recommend playing it safe and wear clothes you aren’t precious about. Gloves will be provided on request, but if you need a special size, please bring your own.
